Golden Moment

Foundation day is an important day for any school. It is a day to celebrate the school's history, and to remember the people who have made the school what it is today. It is said that high school day celebration is a golden moment of every student. It is where the period of pure joy and happiness, because the mind of every individual is free from worries.

This year, our school's 121st High School Day Celebration was celebrated on March 25, 2023, with the theme; "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity". The day started with a Thanksgiving Mass, all teachers, and club officers joined the Eucharistic Celebration. This was followed by a ceremony at the school gymnasium, where the teachers, employees, retirees were given awards for their achievements. We, the 10-Maxwell, also had the opportunity to perform for the visitors. Atty. Lovely Anne Joy C. Lazo also had the opportunity to give us some inspirations and advices.

And finally, for the last and most exciting part, after the prayer and welcome address delivered by Mr. Reynario T. Viloria, the Assistant Principal II of JHS, the Field Demonstration begun. Cheers erupted from students and teachers as the students showcased their talents and skills. Hearing the audience's cheers as the students performed was a treat for the ears. Following the dances, there were traditional games, which the students and teachers enjoyed playing. Additionally, there is a booth set up by the SSG Officers. The day ended smoothly with a words of gratitude from the Head Teacher VI, MAPEH Department, Mrs. Judeliza M. Refuerzo.

Everyone had a wonderful day, and we were finally able to celebrate High School Day after three years of waiting. At that time, I felt the golden moments of my high school life. Even if things had changed, the whole significance of this occasion is most definitely still there. It is true that a high school day celebration is an occasion that we need to cherish forever.

And that's how my high school day went...
