Hope

Dear President,

I am honored to have the opportunity to write for someone of such high standing in government. Good day, Sir. How are you? I hope you're doing fine. I want to send my warmest greetings for winning the presidential election. It will never be easy to lead our nation, but I have faith in your ability. Although I'm not your biggest fan, I'm willing to give you an opportunity to show that you are capable of performing your duties as president admirably. I hope this letter finds you well.

On May 9, you were elected to the highest government position, and I wasn't really happy about it. I believe that during the past few months, I have grown unimpressed with the state of the nation. As a student, I have a lot of concerns in terms of education, especially my future. I have to admit, I'm very concerned about the future. I am afraid of what the future holds, for a lot of reasons. What genuinely motivates your bid for the presidency? Do you really have a great plans for us, for the Philippines? Mr. President, as you can see, I am quite worried about the Philippines. I hope and pray for the development of our country. The Philippines is a developing country, and I hope you'll try your hardest to improve things here. I hope that you will create a difference, and make the world a safer place for us, Filipinos. Our pathways are being established by you, Sir, and I sincerely hope that they will take us to goodness. I sincerely hope that all of the problems we are currently experiencing will soon be resolved.

The journey is really only starting. I'm hoping you'll keep up the good work and make more little improvements. I'm hoping you'll bring back the nation's golden and wonderful years. I expect you to keep the commitments you made for us. May the initiatives you develop succeed and enable you to assist more people. We are all Filipinos, so whatever you do, as long as it benefits our nation, I will support you. I am wishing you all the best, Mr. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines. Goodluck on your journey! Padayon! Let's Unite and Not Fight.

With Kind Regards,

Yanichel Divine Afroilan
